Usage Policies
- No activity is permitted which violates any state or federal laws or
local ordinances, including, but not limited to, distribution of copyrighted
software without permission.
- As Cronos supports the freedom of speech, there are no restrictions
on the content of any electronic media provided by Cronos, including Web
pages, e-mail, Usenet articles, etc., providing that all such content is
legal and does not constitute threat or harassment towards others. Cronos
assumes no responsibility for any content posted by users.
- Unsolicited mass postings, aka "spamming", is an abuse of
the Internet and in many cases is also illegal. This includes both unsolicited
commercial e-mail to multiple recipients and "mail-bombing" individual
recipients, as well as crossposting articles to multiple or unrelated Usenet
newsgroups. Any such activity may result in termination of the account
being used to send it.
- Anyone attempting to use their account to gain unauthorized access
or to damage the Cronos.network or other networks may have their accounts
terminated immediately, without notice. That includes, but is not limited
to, using unauthorized passwords, packet sniffers, flood pings, mail-bombs,
excessive use of system resources, unauthorized access of system files
and directories or those of other users, etc.
- Disk space limits apply to the total space for users' home, WWW and
FTP directories and their e-mailboxes. All accounts also have limits on
the number of daily Web hits and bandwidth used. Users exceeding their
allotted usage for more than 24 hours will be asked to reduce the excess
or to upgrade their level of service to accommodate the space required.
- IRC bots and clones are not permitted. Any violation of this policy
may result in the immediate cancellation of the account being used to create
them, without notice.
- Cronos reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
- A $15.00 late fee will be charged for delinquent payment of all accounts.
